Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate (NPE) supplier in Oman — Global Chemicals LLC supplies NPE non-ionic surfactants in various ethoxylation grades (NPE-4, NPE-9, NPE-10, NPE-15, NPE-20, NPE-40) to industrial cleaning product formulators, textile processors, agrochemical manufacturers, and metalworking fluid producers across Muscat and Oman. Nonyl phenol ethoxylates are produced by ethoxylation of nonylphenol with ethylene oxide. The HLB (hydrophilic-lipophilic balance) value and water solubility are controlled by the number of ethylene oxide (EO) units — low EO grades (4–6 EO) are oil-soluble emulsifiers; high EO grades (9–15 EO) are water-soluble detergents and wetting agents. NPE is valued for excellent wetting, emulsification, and detergency across a wide temperature and pH range. Industrial applications include metal parts cleaning and degreasing, textile scouring and wetting, emulsification in agrochemical concentrate formulation (emulsifiable concentrates, suspension concentrates), oilfield chemical formulation, and leather processing. Note: NPE is restricted in household detergent applications in the EU under REACH regulation 648/2004 due to environmental persistence concerns — for consumer products, alcohol ethoxylate (AEO) alternatives are recommended.
