    Global Chemicals LLC supplies ground calcium carbonate (GCC) from Oman's high-purity limestone deposits — one of the country's flagship mineral exports — in multiple particle-size grades from coarse feed grades down to fine coated grades, packed in 25 kg bags, 1-tonne jumbo bags, and bulk. Customers span plastics and masterbatch compounders, paint and coatings producers, paper, rubber, animal feed and construction users across the GCC and Indian Ocean markets. Every grade ships with CoA covering purity, particle-size distribution, brightness and moisture.

    Coated grades are surface-treated with stearic acid (typically ~1%), making the particle hydrophobic so it disperses uniformly in polymer melts and improves flow in PVC, PP and PE compounding — the standard for plastics masterbatch and cable filler duty. Uncoated grades stay hydrophilic, which suits water-based systems: paints and emulsions, paper coating, construction products and feed. Choosing wrong shows up as poor dispersion, die build-up in extrusion, or viscosity problems in paints. We stock both, in the particle sizes each application needs.

    Coarser grades (20–40 μm) serve construction products, putties and feed where cost per tonne dominates. Mid grades (5–20 μm) are the general workhorse for paints, paper filler and rubber. Fine grades (≤5 μm, top-cut controlled) go into plastics compounding, high-PVC paints and sealants where surface finish, gloss and mechanical properties matter; the finest coated grades approach functional-additive duty in rigid PVC.
