    MEG (Monoethylene Glycol)

    C2H6O2

    Product Overview

    Hydrate inhibitor and dehydration agent.

    Detailed Description

Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) supplier in Oman - Global Chemicals LLC provides high-purity MEG for gas dehydration, hydrate inhibition, and industrial applications in Muscat, Sohar, Duqm, Salalah. Our MEG is the industry-standard thermodynamic hydrate inhibitor used to prevent gas hydrate formation in pipelines, wellheads, and processing equipment. The regenerable glycol system allows for cost-effective long-term hydrate control. MEG also serves as a desiccant for natural gas dehydration, antifreeze, and heat transfer fluid. Essential for offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, gas processing facilities, and cold climate operations across Oman. Available in technical and high-purity grades with complete regeneration support. Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) is a critical chemical in Oman's offshore and deepwater gas production — injected as a thermodynamic hydrate inhibitor (THI) in gas export pipelines, subsea production systems, and gas gathering systems to prevent gas hydrate formation. MEG is also the antifreeze in Oman's large HVAC chilled water systems in commercial buildings, hotels, and district cooling networks. In gas processing, MEG is recovered, regenerated, and recycled in MEG regeneration/reclamation units (MRU) at Oman LNG's Qalhat terminal and OQ's gas facilities. Global Chemicals LLC supplies MEG (technical grade, 99.9%) in drums and IBC containers for oilfield, gas processing, and HVAC applications. Bulk tanker supply available for large consumers. TDS, SDS available.
