    Product Overview

Amine for CO2 and H2S removal from gas streams.

    Detailed Description

Monoethanolamine (MEA) supplier in Oman - Global Chemicals LLC provides high-purity MEA for gas treating and acid gas removal in Muscat, Sohar, Duqm. Our monoethanolamine is the most widely used amine for CO2 and H2S removal from natural gas, refinery gases, and synthesis gas streams. MEA offers excellent absorption capacity and fast reaction kinetics for effective gas sweetening. Essential for meeting natural gas specifications, reducing emissions, and protecting downstream equipment from corrosion. Widely used in gas processing plants, LNG facilities, refineries, and petrochemical complexes across Oman. Available in 99%+ purity with technical support for system optimization. Monoethanolamine (MEA, 99% or 80% aqueous solution) is one of the original gas sweetening amines — used in Oman's mature amine sweetening units for simultaneous removal of both H₂S and CO₂ from natural gas streams. MEA reacts stoichiometrically with both acid gases and achieves very low residual H₂S concentrations, but requires more energy for regeneration than MDEA and is more corrosive at high concentrations. MEA also serves as a raw material for detergent surfactants (N-acyl MEA alkanolamides) and as a cement grinding aid. Global Chemicals LLC supplies MEA (99% pure) in drums and IBC containers for gas processing, industrial, and detergent applications. TDS and SDS provided.
