Detailed Description
Urea (46% N) is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer available and the primary nitrogen source across Oman's agriculture — date palm plantations in Al Batinah and Al Dakhiliyah, vegetable farms, greenhouse operations, and cereal cropping. Global Chemicals LLC supplies IFDC-standard prilled and granular urea in 25 kg PP bags and 1,000 kg big bags. Applied by broadcast, fertigation through drip irrigation, or foliar spray (0.5–1.0% solution). In Oman's alkaline calcareous soils (pH 7.5–8.5), prompt incorporation or fertigation minimises ammonia volatilisation losses.
