Detailed Description
Calcium Nitrate (15.5% N, 26.5% CaO) is the standard calcium fertilizer for greenhouse and open-field horticulture across Oman — essential for preventing blossom-end rot in tomatoes and peppers, tip-burn in lettuce, and bitter pit in fruit. As the only widely-available calcium source fully compatible with fertigation, it dissolves clearly, delivers nitrate-nitrogen (preferred over ammonium in high-pH substrates), and supports strong cell wall structure. Supplied by Global Chemicals LLC in 25 kg bags for greenhouse growers in Nizwa, Barka, and across Al Batinah.
