Muriate of Potash (MOP / potassium chloride, 60% K2O) is the most widely used potassium fertilizer in Oman — critical for date palm fruit sizing, quality, and post-harvest storage life, and for tolerance to Oman's saline groundwater. Supplied in standard and granular grades, MOP is applied by broadcast, banding, or fertigation (standard grade fully soluble). Global Chemicals LLC also supplies Sulphate of Potash (SOP, 50% K2O) for chloride-sensitive crops on request.
