Our USP-grade PG (E1520) is GRAS-approved for use as a humectant, solvent, and carrier for flavors, colors, and active ingredients in foods. Essential for maintaining moisture in baked goods, dissolving flavors and essences, and preventing ice crystal formation in frozen foods. The non-toxic, water-miscible liquid offers similar properties to glycerin but with better solvency. Widely used in bakeries, beverage plants, flavor houses, and food manufacturing across Oman. Preferred over ethylene glycol due to food-safe status. Meets USP (United States Pharmacopeia) and EP (European Pharmacopoeia) specifications.
